How To Use PlatoForms For Teams
Question: Hi! I have my forms ready, but our manager would like to review the form I created. How do I let him edit the online PDF form I created without using my logins?
Answer: PlatoForms has a Teams Page to invite your team or other people to work with you. You can also edit their access permission under the Permission settings.
What Is PlatoForms Teams?
One of PlatoForms' goals is to provide a streamlined process for you. With that said, we created a Teams Page that allows you to collaborate with other people through your PlatoForms account. PlatoForms Teams Page lets you invite other people to access your PlatoForms online PDF forms by entering their emails.
How to Invite Your Teammates using PlatoForms Teams?
- Log in to your PlatoForms account.
- Click Team from the options listed on the left side of your dashboard.
- Click the Invite Team button located at the upper right corner of your dashboard.
- Once the invitation bar pops up, enter the email of the people you want to access your forms.
Note: You can enter multiple emails in the box but don’t forget to separate the emails using commas.
Click send once done. After that, the person you invite will receive the invitation by email.
The email will appear under the Pending Invitation section until the person accepts your invitation. For your invitation to succeed, the recipient should access the confirmation link sent to their email and sign up to PlatoForms using their information. Once they have their accounts set up, they’ll be able to access your forms, and their email will appear under your team’s list.
How to Switch Teams?
You can be a member of more than one team using PlatoForms Teams. To switch Teams, click on the arrow down button after your name.
After you click the arrow, you’ll see a dropdown of choices that include your teams.
Lastly, pick and click on the team that you want to work with, and you’ll land on that specific team’s dashboard.
How to Manage Your Team Member Permission
Permission Settings is where you add and remove team editors of your form, team viewers of the submitted forms, and the people who can submit your forms.
How to Edit Permission Settings
Note: Editing permission settings should be for individual forms. Bulk editing is not available.
In your dashboard, find the PDF that you want to edit the settings.
Click on the gear icon located at the top right corner of the form.
Click on the X symbol beside the name to remove a person’s permission. If you want to add new editors and viewers, click on the add button and choose from the dropdown choices.
Don’t forget to click save after adding or removing persons from the permission settings.
