Do page breaks and section breaks still work in conversational mode?

Answer

In conversational mode, every field appears one at a time on its own screen. Page breaks and section breaks behave differently here:

• Page break — Ignored. Fields from all pages flow into a single sequence, one screen each. Your page structure is preserved and restored when you switch back to standard mode.
• Section break — The section title and help text become their own screen, counted in the progress indicator (e.g. 1/6). Fields in that section then follow one per screen.

How the screen count works

The progress indicator counts section title screens and field screens. Page breaks do not add to the count.

For example, a 3-page form with one section break, a slider, a rating field, a full address block, a dropdown, and a short text field produces 6 screens:

1. Section title (from the section break)
2. Slider
3. Rating
4. All address fields together — see below
5. Dropdown (page break before it is ignored)
6. Short Text (page break before it is ignored)

Address fields are always grouped

Address Line 1, Address Line 2, City, State/Province, Zip Code, and Country always appear together on one screen in conversational mode — regardless of how they are laid out in the builder.
