Switch from Google Forms Without Starting Over

Your Google Forms, upgraded in seconds

Paste your form’s edit URL — questions, sections, and field types transfer automatically. Your original Google Form stays untouched. Then extend with PDF output, e-signatures, approval workflows, and payments.

No Migration Portal. No Rebuilding.

Just paste a URL — done in under 30 seconds
One URL, That's It

Paste your form’s edit URL — all your questions and sections transfer automatically. No dedicated migration tool, no CSV exports, no copy-pasting.

Your Original Form Stays Untouched

The import creates a separate copy in PlatoForms. Your Google Form keeps running — switch over when you’re ready, not before.

When your process ends with a document

Generate a PDF on Every Submission

Collecting responses is only half the job. When you need to send a signed contract, issue a certificate, or file a report, manually turning form data into a document creates delays and errors.

After importing, add your logo, colors, and branding — then publish. From that point on, PlatoForms auto-generates a filled, branded PDF the moment a form is submitted. Fields, selections, and images all carry across. Open it directly from the submission notification, ready to send or file. No extra tools, no copy-pasting.

Built-In E-Signatures

Chasing signatures after a form is submitted — over email or separate tools — breaks the flow and slows down every process that depends on it.

PlatoForms collects legally binding e-signatures inline, as part of the same submission. The signed document is generated immediately, with no back-and-forth.

When long forms hurt completion rates

Switch to Conversational Mode — In One Click

Long forms shown all at once make people drop off — especially on mobile. A form that took time to build shouldn’t lose respondents because of how it’s presented.

After importing, switch any form to conversational mode with one click — one question at a time, no rebuilding required. All your fields, logic, and settings stay exactly as they are.

Advanced Themes & Custom Branding

A form that looks generic signals that the experience behind it might be too. First impressions affect completion — and trust.

PlatoForms lets you apply custom fonts, colors, logos, and a custom domain. Start from a ready-made theme or build your own. Share themes across forms to keep everything consistent.

Import in 3 Steps — Usually Under 30 Seconds

  1. Connect Google Account — Authorize via the OAuth popup. PlatoForms gets read-only access and cannot modify your forms.
  2. Paste Your Form’s Edit URL — The URL must end in /edit. Paste it in and click Import Form at Import Google Forms to PlatoForms.
  3. Edit and Publish — Your form opens in the editor with fields mapped and sections as pages. Customize anything, then publish.

FAQ’S

  • Will I lose my questions when I import?
No. All input fields, sections, help text, and required settings transfer automatically. You open the editor with a working form.
  • Does my original Google Form get affected?
No. The import creates a separate copy in PlatoForms. Your original Google Form stays exactly as it is — you can run both in parallel until you’re ready to switch.
  • The import failed — what went wrong?
Almost always the wrong URL. You need the edit URL ending in /edit — not /preview or /viewform. Open the form in the Google Forms editor and copy from the address bar.
  • Does PlatoForms store my Google credentials?
No. PlatoForms connects via Google OAuth with read-only access — your password is never shared or stored.
  • What happens to my existing responses?
Only the form structure imports — not submission history. Existing responses remain secure in your original Google Sheets.
  • Is the import free? Do I need a paid plan first?
Free, no paid plan required. Start importing now — no credit card needed.
  • Can I switch to conversational layout after importing?
Yes. Switch to Conversational mode with one click — no rebuilding needed.
  • Do I need coding skills?
No. Import, PDF generation, workflows, and conditional logic are all configured through the visual editor.
