Does Insights change my form submissions?

Do filters, category cleanup, AI analysis, or data-quality flags in Insights change my original form submissions?

Answer

No. Insights analyzes and changes how data is displayed in a report; it does not edit the underlying form submissions.

• Report filters limit which submissions are included in the current view.
• Saved filters store a reusable set of report conditions.
• Clean up categories combines or hides answer labels in reports without changing the submitted answers.
• AI classification uses the same category-mapping system to display themes and sentiment for text answers.
• Data-quality flags identify submissions that may need review. Flagged submissions remain included in the charts.

If someone edits or re-submits an existing submission outside Insights, the report updates to use its latest values rather than counting it as an additional submission.
