What is a Master Form in PlatoForms?
Question
What is a Master Form, and how does it work with multiple PDFs?
Answer
A Master Form is a single form that consolidates all fields from multiple PDFs. It typically contains:
- Shared fields common across all PDFs (e.g. full name, email, phone number)
- Unique fields specific to each PDF, set to hidden by default
Once published, you link each PDF to the Master Form and map the corresponding fields. Conditional logic then controls which fields are shown and which PDF is generated based on what the user selects.
After submission, the user receives a zip package containing the generated PDF(s). No matter how many PDFs are linked to the Master Form, there is only one sharing URL.
