    Creating an Online Form for an Existing PDF

    With Builder you can build three types of forms: online web forms, online PDF forms, and master forms.

    you will arrive at the Form Builder. On the form Builder, there are three main sections:

Set Dropdown properties

This section describes how to set the properties for the Dropdown fields.

Set Dropdown field type

  1. Once you add a Dropdown field, open the field’s property panel.

  2. Set the Dropdown field type:

    • To set the field type as Multiple Choices, enable Multiple Choices.
    • To set the field type as Single Choice, disable Multiple Choices.

In the Dropdown field’s property panel, you can set other properties such as:

Set the field to Required.
Set Dropdown to Required
Add more options by selecting + Add Item.
Add Dropdown Item
Set options searchable by enabling Searchable Options.

Select one choice as a default selection.

Set apart item label and value

  • Item label: The text displayed in the Dropdown list on the web form.
  • Item value: The text displayed in the Dropdown list on the PDF form.

To keep the Item label and Item value the same, enable Value is Same with Label. This ensures the value and label will remain identical.

To set them apart, disable Value is Same with Label and enter your desired values. For instance, you might use country names on the Web Form and country codes on the PDF.
