Organize forms with folders
Tabs
Folders help you keep online forms, Master Forms, and PDF forms organized as your form count grows. This chapter covers creating folders, moving forms into them, browsing folders from the Dashboard, and sorting both folders and forms.
Create a folder
-
Go to your Dashboard.
-
Switch between the Online Forms, Master Forms, and PDF Documents tabs at the top to select where you want the new folder.
-
Click + New folder.
-
In the Create Folder window, enter a Folder Name and click Create.
This creates a new folder under your chosen tab.
Browse your folders
Each tab’s dashboard shows a Folders section at the top, above All forms, listing every folder as a card with its name and the number of forms inside. Click a folder to open it.
Place forms in folders
When creating a new form, click on an existing folder to place it within. Your new form will be neatly organized under your chosen folder.
Move forms to folders
You can move existing forms into a chosen folder. To do this:
-
Hover over the desired form on the Dashboard.
-
Click the Settings (gear) icon in the top right corner. In the panel that opens, select Move to Folder under Quick Actions.
-
Select the desired folder and click Move.
Sort your folders
Click the Recent Created dropdown above the Folders section to sort your folders. A checkmark or highlight shows which option is currently active:
- Recent Created: Sort by creation date, newest to oldest.
- Recent Updated: Sort by update date, most recent to least recent.
- Name: Sort alphabetically from A to Z.
Sort your forms
Click the sort dropdown above the All forms section to sort your forms. This list has one additional option not available for folders:
- Recent Created: Sort by creation date, newest to oldest.
- Recent Updated: Sort by update date, most recent to least recent.
- Name: Sort alphabetically from A to Z.
- Live forms first: Show forms with a Live status before Draft forms.
